Crown Pips
Risk disclaimer

Trading can lose you money.

Please read this before you act on any call, chart or message from Crown Pips, or run Crown Pips Algo. Last updated 17 October 2026.

CFDs and leveraged forex are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. A large share of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. Consider whether you understand how they work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.

Signals, software and education, not advice

Crown Pips publishes trade ideas ("calls"), market notes, chart analysis and educational content about gold (XAU/USD), oil and other markets, and makes Crown Pips Algo, an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5, available to Elite members. This is general information and software for your own decisions. It is not personal financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it does not take your situation, goals or experience into account.

Crown Pips does not manage money, does not hold client funds and never asks for your broker login or password. You decide whether to take a call, whether to run the Algo, how much you risk and when you stop. Every trade on your account is your own responsibility.

Leverage works both ways

Forex and CFDs on gold and oil are traded with leverage. A small price move can cause a large loss relative to your deposit. Depending on your broker and where you live, losses can exceed your deposit. Gold and oil can move sharply around economic data, central bank decisions and geopolitical news.

  • Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
  • We suggest risking no more than 0.5–1% of your account on a single call.
  • Stops are not guaranteed: gaps, slippage and spread widening can fill a stop worse than its level.
  • Check your broker's contract size, margin and costs before you size a position.

Past performance

Past or simulated results don't guarantee future results. A call that worked before says nothing about the next one. Calls can and do lose. We post every call before it runs and the result after, win or loss, so you can judge for yourself — but no record guarantees anything.

Automated trading (Crown Pips Algo)

Crown Pips Algo is an Expert Advisor (EA) for MetaTrader 5. Once you install it and switch it on, it opens, manages and closes trades on your own account automatically, following fixed rules and the settings you choose. It is in early access: the software is new and may change.

  • Automated trading can lose money. Fixed rules have losing trades, losing days and losing months. An algorithm does not remove the risk of trading CFDs; it only applies the same rules every time.
  • Risk limits such as the 0.5% risk per trade and the 2% daily loss limit reduce risk but do not cap it. Gaps, slippage, spread widening and requotes can make a loss larger than planned.
  • The Algo depends on technology you control: your MT5 terminal, your computer or VPS, your internet connection and your broker's servers. Outages, disconnections, platform updates or wrong settings can lead to missed, late or unexpected trades.
  • Brokers differ in symbol names, contract sizes, spreads, server time and execution. Check that the Algo is set up correctly for your broker, and run it on a demo account first.
  • There is no public track record. Backtested and simulated results are prepared with hindsight, leave out real-world costs such as slippage and execution delays, and do not represent actual trading. We don't publish performance figures for the Algo.
  • You can switch the Algo off at any time. You remain responsible for every trade it places on your account.
